Hi, I’m Helena!
I run a private pediatric occupational therapy practice from my home in West Seattle, offering personalized, family-centered therapy services to children and their families.
Professionally trained in England, I earned my qualifications in Occupational Therapy and am licensed to practice in the State of Washington. My work experience is extensive across a broad range of practice environments, including school-based, early intervention, private practice, and hospital settings. I support families in navigating all aspects of their child’s development both at home and school.
My Approach
Improving the functional motor development of each child remains central to my practice, ultimately supporting them to meet their therapy goals. I am committed to providing the highest quality out-patient pediatric occupational therapy services. My mission is to engage children to actively participate in fun and meaningful activities, enabling them to reach their developmental milestones. I strongly believe that family engagement facilitates children to reach their full potential. I create realistic and focused activities for you to practice with your child between our therapy visits.
My Setting
I believe that a familiar, home-like environment can help reduce the stress and anxiety children may experience in a clinical setting. My OT practice in West Seattle offers a warm, welcoming space where children and their families feel comfortable and supported, creating the foundation for growth and success in achieving their goals.
